At Beursschouwburg we don’t usually brew up anything special in May, as we leave that to our dear colleagues organizing the Kunstenfestivaldesarts. We are delighted to say they have chosen our quarters as the centre of the festival.
The start of the festival also heralds the end of make up, you may recall: the programme around Antonia Baehr and Werner Hirsch’s table. A beautiful finale: with a première of the brand-new Abecedarium Bestiarium. Our ongoing make up expo is actually continuing until the end of the festival. Why not drop by the festival exhibition centre, the make up archief or simply for a refreshing pint and a chat after a performance.
Our associate artistes from L’Amicale de Production, Antoine Defoort, Halory Goerger and Julien Fournet, are presenting their new show Germinal during the festival at La Raffinerie. See it and you’ll enjoy a taster of what awaits you next season at Beursschouwburg!
Meanwhile the roof terrace at Beursschouwburg is getting all dressed up for Out Loud! 2013, our summer date with free films, concerts, aperitif interludes and a picnic at one of the most exclusive spots the city has on offer.
