TINA – There Is No Alternative” was Margaret Thatcher‘s motto. Martin Schick would rather change it into: “TAMARA – There Are Many Awesome Realistic Alternatives!
What would a new economic system look like, and above all, how would it function? This question has already been posed by many intellectuals, economists, idealists, freaks and politicians alike. Now it’s Martin Schick’s turn! NOT MY PIECE is an introduction to the world of post-capitalism. The end of the capitalist system is the subject of much debate these days. It’s time to prepare ourselves for this crisis and to consider what would come after capitalism. Can less really be more? NOT MY PIECE is a play straddling reality, irrationality and absurdity.
