In december 2016, workspacebrussels, Beursschouwburg, Halles St-Géry and Brussels Major Events will host MADE IN BRUSSELS, a creative pop-up gallery with affordable artworks, editions and designs by over 30 Brussels based artists. In collaboration with the local art schools and students, emerging talent and renowned artists, the project will aim to give to a broad audience a taste of the incredible creative climate in Brussels.

Robbert&Frank Frank&Robbert GO AWAY SORROW OF THE WORLD (working title)

Le duo d’artistes gantois Robbert&Frank Frank&Robbert (BE) travaille actuellement à un projet dans lequel ils fabriquent de petites valises en bois. Celles-ci, de la taille des bagages à main autorisés dans l’avion, abritent des œuvres d’art rabattables et des performances. Au Beursschouwburg, les deux artistes déballeront et monteront pendant la journée le contenu de la valise intitulée DISPARAIS, CHAGRIN DU MONDE. Le message quelque peu naïf de cette œuvre renvoie à la conviction très simple (et pourtant séculaire), que ce texte, comme un mantra, peut effectivement rendre le monde meilleur. Quiconque lit cette phrase, y pense et la prononce envoie quelque chose « de bien » dans l’univers.
