Hailing from Vancouver, Canada Tommy Genesis used to find refuge in poetry, studying sculpture, art and film, spending much of her time painting and drawing and playing in a couple DIY bands. After floating around in Vancouver for a short while her music began to develop… She started to perform as a solo artist at house party’s, DIY events & local rap shows. Her raw performances and powerful acapella’s left crowds wanting more.
Following a short hiatus from music she began to record her debut album, ‘World Vision’. The release of her first two singles, ‘Shepherd’ and ‘Execute’, garnered the support of Complex, FACT, Noisey, i-D, DAZED & many others. Her debut album dropped in July 2015 - the provocative lyrics, raw social message, girl on girl love and tomboy attitude has since sold out two European tours. Tommy was also featured in Calvin Klein’s Fall/Winter 2016 campaign and is currently working on completing her follow up album and the ‘World Vision Trilogy’
