To celebrate this in style, the Brazilian writer Bernardo Carvalho makes an ironic plea for the ideal book in Passa Porta, culminating in a party at the Beursschouwburg. Authors from home and abroad who have written about Brussels and Belgium, in recent years will be reading from their work in the Gouden Zaal/ Golden Hall and joining in the dancing in the Beurskafee.
