Belgian multi-artist Bernard Van Eeghem seems to have become merged in Beursschouwburg. It’s hard to keep count of the numerous plays he has performed in our house so far. No way he could have been lacking from our anniversary programme.

Let this born and bred performer guide you into his personal underworld. Using a very particular narrative style, he explores the following questions: what do and don’t I love and why? What makes life worth living and how can I translate that on stage?

At a frantic pace, Van Eeghem shapes singing, dance, poetry, theatre and history into a performance. A mishmash of consecutive items that vary greatly at first sight, but also push the performance towards its inevitable and shocking end game.
