Branle à Bruxelles w/ Marge Togens, Anthe & Lander Hermans
A branle is a special circle dance to electronic music (techno, house, etc.) and open to everyone who wants to join in. This contemporary interpretation of a traditional folk dance requires no preparation, is child-friendly and you can step in and out without breaking the flow. While dancing we chant affirmations together, collected from the surrounding audience, to enter a joyful collective trance. Will you dance-trance along?
Marge Togens is the choreographer of this brand new folk dance, which started organically during a birthday party. Anthe & Lander Hermans are siblings by accident, but friends and close collaborators by choice. They work across video, drawing, writing, installation, performance and interactive workshop formats. They often like to blur the boundaries between playfulness and research, resistance and entertainment.

Zenne-Monsters w/ asbl herbronnen.ressources vzw
Zenne-Monsters, listen up! Together, we’ll head out into the city and explore the hidden river of Brussels right in the city center! Where does it come from, where does it flow, and why is it hiding from us?
herbronnen.ressources vzw is a Brussels-based non-profit founded in 2023 by urbanists and spatial planners Nele Maes, Henri Lebbe, and Robin De Ridder. The organization, awarded the BMA Label (Bouwmeester Maitre Architecte), focuses on temporary installations with spring water in Brussels, which currently flows into the sewer. The name combines the Dutch word herbronnen (re-springing) and the French ressources (resources). By creating installations, they showcase sustainable solutions for the use of spring water in an urban context and explore the potential of water as a shared resource. Their goal is to transform water sources into urban meeting places, fostering community engagement and connection.
