Dame Area is a duo from Barcelona that makes a form of EBM (electronic body music, think of bands like Front 242) with synths, live percussion, and vocals, known as "tribal wave." Italian Silvia Konstance (vocals, percussion) and Catalan Viktor L. Crux (percussion, synths) met more than 10 years ago at Magia Roja, an infamous label-venue-free space for experimental music and art in Barcelona's underground. They wanted to create danceable music that transcends the genres that inspire them, from punk to techno, opera, free jazz, industrial, krautrock, post-punk, wave, black metal, and noise—making noise with a message that moves the mind, heart, and legs.

Dame Area, Spanish for "give me space," released their first single in 2015. But it was mainly after a forced lockdown pause that they began touring incessantly through an impressive list of clubs, concert halls, and festivals across Europe and, in early 2024, also the USA.

It is only when you see them live that you truly enter their universe. Every setlist is different, with existing tracks being live remixed, destroyed, and reinvented in a show that sits somewhere between a techno rave, a punk show, and a ritual catharsis making time stand still, in which the moment lasts forever and the future ceases to exist.

KABAAL is the solo project of Belgian drummer Jakob Warmenbol. He started out as a jazz drummer, onde day decided to move to Marseille, hooked up a bunch of electronics to his drum kit, fed it a wide range of samples - from bagpipes to seventies sitcoms from China - and the fans of Death Grips, NAH, Tony Allen and Lander Gyselinck nodded approvingly. In early 2024, KABAAL played at Recyclart and Brasserie Atlas for the release of his first tape Kéké. Now a first full-length World Why Web is in the pipeline, accompanied by an AV show where the synth-drum also triggers, modulates and mixes the visuals. Improvised and drummed digital poetry!
