So, join us as we approach this season's second focus programme*. You'll be hearing comments expressing power, media manipulation, populism, the iron hand of dictators, politicians' rhetorical tricks and rewriting history.
Serious topics alternate with the occasional great party (on Valentine’s day you even have the choice between two parties: “Slow” funding – a real Valentine’s party – and the launch of Sabzian in Cinéma Galeries) and the lively tones of a cool concert (from Fatima Al Qadiri to Future Islands and Liesa Van der Aa).
In February we’re also launching with Art Brussels a new concept: together we’re screening a monthly Artist Film Premiere. John Akomfrah is first up.
Or simply hang out in the BeursKafee - that's always a perfect place to chill out. Like, for instance, on the evening of the record fair ‘vinyl market’. At the start of this month we’re into our second edition, with once again a great choice of vinyl to top up your collection.
