Celebration of the extra-ordinary
Pop music, performance and illusionism in one show? ... can we read your thoughts? For the French performer, songwriter and artist Gérald Kurdian these elements go hand in hand. In the theatre it seems illusionism forms an alliance with the spectator, who is willingly led up the garden path. However, both the theatre and a classical magician’s show share the premiss that there is something that goes beyond the here and now. A professional magician guides Kurdian in The Magic of Spectacular Theater in his quest for a lo-fi tribute to everything that is extra-ordinary.
