JES is an urban laboratory for children and youth.
It seems to be everybody’s birthday all the time. That’s also the case for JES, a youthful and innovative not-for-profit-organisation active in Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels. For 30 years now, JES has been offering training to volunteers from Brussels and young people looking for a job, has been working on the streets and squares with youngsters from Brussels, have been showing young musicians and visual people the ins and outs of music and multimedia... During this after work party there’s time for a talk with political Brussels people and Brussels politicians, next to artistic interventions by the young and talented. The reception is taken care of by students in training. And after all of that ... we dance!
