Mac Coco On self pleasure and sex toys

w/ Rainbow Nation Brussels

Ophélie Mac aka Mac Coco is an afro-feminist artist and activist. She is a ceramist and performer, and has lived and worked in Brussels since 2012. She recently opened Fatsabbats in the Anneessens quarter, a space for and by women of colour that focuses on the queer community.

Her artistic work questions her mixed origins, her beliefs, her intimacy and her relationship with the audience. The performance "Everything must disappear" deals with the absence of the black body in contemporary art, its exorcism, the taboos, the care and the parallels between the art market and the sex industry. On demand, Ophélie organises a kind of tupperware party at your home. But you can also find her at art fairs with her ceramic dildos, which she calls 'encastrables'.

During this workshop Ophélie explains why ceramics are such a fantastic material for a sex toy and she will answer your technical or more intimate questions. You can also buy the dildos. Cash & cards accepted.
