John T. Gast is a London-based producer and DJ who for many years, from the shadows between the club and art circuit, has fearlessly experimented with sound. Classical composition and deep dubs are joined by grime, industrial techno, polypercussion, Irish folk, British jazz, roots reggae or whatever else John T. Gast feels like playing that night????
After releases on labels such as Blackest Ever Black and Planet Mu, he now runs his own 5 Gate Temple label. The list of collabs is endless and started (or so it is rumoured) in the entourage of Hype Williams. He is also a household name at all your fave festivals and venues, including Meakusma earlier this year.
ugne&maria is the electroacoustic music duo project of Ugnė Vyliaudaitė and Marija Rasa Kudabaitė, both based in Brussels. Their music is made from a mosaic of samples, carefully triggered field recordings, and various experimentations using violin and synthesizers. Intricate and calming but far from ambient, in that where ambient music recedes ugne&maria’s music sounds always close to the skin.
Their music has been released on Interior Insula, Gems Under The Horizon, Rocket Recordings, and Futura Resistenza labels. Also, the duo has a residency at Kiosk Radio, sharing their loved music monthly.
Rick Shiver is a DJ, graphic designer and tropical dandy. He's the honcho of Nose Job —the incisive label, parties, gigs and mix series. As a dj, Rick seamlessly spins a broad range of new/old sounds and styles geared towards one thing - getting peeps to move/be moved. He played around Europe, has residencies on Kiosk Radio and Lyl Radio and is a much loved regular at you-know-which-schouwburg.
