Release is an Onda Sonora and On-Point project that puts young, talented producers with a DIY mentality in the spotlight. They do this through concerts, parties and through their ‘Future Beats’ selection on the Brussels variant of the 22 track site. During Nuit Blanche in the BeursKafee you can expect a mix of performances by foreign and home-grown talent and DJ sets, with the focus on local talent. “Roots of Release” gets a special slot within the building and concentrates on the early 80s when DIY Electronics and Wave production was at its height in Belgium. Finally, Nicoletta Cabassi presents the performance “BEECH - contre l’intolérance”.
