Based in Utrecht under the multidisciplinary artist moniker Upsammy, Thessa Torsing makes the world a little better. Her music emerges when the distinction between synthetic and natural dissolves into crackling, electronic bubbles. Crystal-clear melodies, complex rhythms, organic stories, digital adventures, both desolate and comfortingly warm. Her own compositions as well as her DJ sets have the leftfield vibrancy she makes/finds in trippy electro, experimental DnB and even stranger techno.
