The German graphic designer, caricaturist and lawyer, Klaus Staeck, is best known for his friendship and collaboration with Joseph Beuys. Both of them produced a significant series of multiples. In the seventies he started mocking German right-wing conservative politics with a series of forceful posters, principally inspired by John Heartfield’s photomontage tradition. Throughout the festival a selection of these posters will be on show in the BeursKafee.
