Stephan Thiel (DE) – Studio Nand
Stephan is one of three partners at Studio NAND, a Berlin-based design agency focused on interaction design, data visualization, research and education, where he mainly oversees projects that make accessible knowledge to various audiences. This also includes coordinating activities for Start Coding, a non-profit in Germany dedicated to supporting learning in a digital age.
Outside of NAND, Stephan enjoys working as a consultant to universities on data visualization in the Humanities and as an educator at organisations such as the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington D.C.

Philippe Braquenier (BE)
Belgian photographer Philippe Braquenier received his BFA in photography from the Helb INRACI in Brussels before starting to work for an advertising studio.
In 2010, the first recognition of his personal work is reflected in a group exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels with his project Inertia. He is one winners at the Hainaut Prize for Visual Arts in 2013 where he exhibited a multimedia installation on the theme of collective memory. Since 2014, he turned to photographic documentary as freelance. After working on societal issues such as the concept of territory, or the fear of violence, he dedicates his first long-term project on the storage of knowledge. A part of this project was exhibited at the Aperture Fondation last summer.
