The audience may sit on the desks of an open space that has been customized. When they pick up the phones, they can hear on-hold music played live by two musicians locked in cubicles (le standard), pick up motivational drawings printed automatically, listen to music coming out of the radiators.
France Distraction is a series of installations around which the audience can move freely. Some feature interventions such as small performances, lectures or concerts that take place at specific moments, given by five performers. Most installations also work without activation.
The parcours takes about an hour.
France Distraction feels like you came to celebrate the boss’s birthday in a company manufacturing experimental team-building devices, and everybody decided to have fun with the stock (not your average party).
