The Trans Issue, created by Bebe Books.
18:00 open
19:00 start programme
Join us in celebrating the launch of the very first issue of Bebe Magazine! This inaugural edition explores a rich tapestry of queer perspectives beyond fixed identities, centering on the theme "trans-" (across, beyond, through). Each of our eight co-curators selected a unique term, creating mini collectives that invite readers to rethink established ideas—from transversal lines to transactions.
Created by Bebe Books, a Ghent-based collective, Bebe Magazine is a testament to the power of collective effort within collectives. It presents a fresh approach to European cultural production, challenging traditional structures through inventive methods and collaborative storytelling.
We warmly invite you to mark this event with us! Stop by to get your copy, meet our team, and engage with co-curators and contributors through talks, films, performances, podcasts, and installations.
