DIRTY BEACHES Deze eenmansformatie is het werk van de Taiwaneese Canadees Alex Zhang Hungtai, een man die zijn roots niet lijkt te vinden en een hoofdzakelijk zwervend bestaan lijdt. Dat vertaalt hij wondermooi in songs die vertrekken bij rockabilly maar door zijn eigenzinnige lo-fi aanpak eigentijds, minimalistisch en filmisch noir aanvoelen.
