Pom Bouvier-b. & Marjolein Dijkman - Electrify Everything
Two multidisciplinary artists bring electricity to life with experimental sound instruments, high-voltage electro-photography, and a poetic text by Jean Katambayi Mukendi, voiced by François Makanga, tracing the history and current realities of energy production through electrical terminology.

Ka Baird
Extending far beyond their roots in the psychedelic folk movement of the early 2000s, Ka Baird is known for their raw, boundary pushing solo performances with voice, electronics, flute, and piano, that bridge experimental sound, performance art, and ritual.

Lawrence Mc Guire
Lawrence McGuire is an artist whose outputs cross the text-sound practices of the sound poets as well as machinic thinking found in computer music and sciences. He'll present a suite of monologues in which synthetic and acoustic voice interpret characters, strings, and speech from the libretto of Gertrude Stein's opera Four Saints in Three Acts, questioning how text, image and symbol finds its path to the mouth.

MSHR
Founded by Brenna Murphy and Birch Cooper, MSHR is an art collective that builds and explores sculptural electronic systems, using analog circuitry and open-source software to create “hyperobjects that babble with life-like current”.

about

Oscillation festival
Oscillation ::: from the Mothership, by Q-O2 werkplaats, is a ten day festival of concerts, workshops, installations, and a discourse program. The festival explores the relation between technology and diversity, and how this relation can be redefined by diverting tools from their original purpose. Hacking and extending tools and instruments can open fields of possibilities, changing not only what music sounds like, but who it is produced by. That is why Oscillation 2026 was conceived as a mothership, a vessel capable of carrying other vehicles and releasing them out into the world. Welcome aboard!

QO-2
Q-O2 is an arts laboratory for experimental music and sound art. Since 2006, the organisation has had its own space in the Brussels canal zone, where they organise residencies, showcases, concerts, symposia, workshops, and other hybrid formats. Oscillation is their annual festival.

Le festival Oscillation fait partie de tekhne, un projet mené par Q-O2 et cinq autres partenaires européens. Les activités de recherche et les événements organisés dans le cadre de ce projet ont contribué à façonner le programme du festival.
