w/ Black History Month Belgium
The day after the final performance of Selina Thompson - salt. (performance) at Beursschouwburg, Selina will have a Reading Group around brunch in a safer space, only accessible to Black people, around the themes of her work. This reading group is important because salt had so much reading woven into how it was made, so Selina wants to share that with folks.
Selina and the attendees will select 3 short reading excerpts to read as a group, before discussing them - what they have in common, what makes them different, how they relate to the experiences of the attendees at the intersections of their identities, etc.
This workshop is open to people from the continent and members of the diaspora who identify as Black or Black/African.
FREE, but registration is mandatory, by email at bhm@beursschouwburg.be
