In the screening programme Company, four local artists join to present their work. They all belong to the same generation: on the one hand because they are of the same age, on the other hand because they belong to the same artistic family - because of the artistic story they tell, with a similar approach and method of working.
Sirah Foighel Brutmann et Eitan Efrat présentent pour la première fois le film Gathering Series. Ils se joignent pour ce faire à Pieter Geenen et Meggy Rustamova, qui présentent en ce moment tous deux une exposition à Bruxelles, respectivement à l'Argos et au Beursschouwburg. Après les films, un débat sera organisé avec les artistes et Zoë Gray: quel regard collectif jetons-nous sur les images qui nous sont proposées? Qu'entendons-nous par collectivité, vivre-ensemble, cohésion et de quelle manière ces concepts influent-ils notre regard?
Gathering Series (première) se tourne vers trois lieux publics de rencontre, où l'on retrouve un amalgame de personnes: le monument dédié à Walter Benjamin à Portbou, un cinéma de l'après-deuxième guerre mondiale à Saarbrücken et une sculpture publique à Tel-Aviv baptisée White Square.
