► Day #1 - Friday 26 May
DRAB MAJESTY (US)
Drab Majesty is an inter-dimensional platform aimed at channeling aural and visual messages founded by a human being from Los Angeles in 2013. The human communes directly with it's spiritual muse/assumed alter-ego Deb Demure to demonstrate the power in relinquishing ownership to a divine design, thereby handing inspiration over to the spirit world - essentially serving as a contractor in business with the Collective Consciousness. Relying on those principles, Drab Majesty, from its inception, set out to achieve no specific style, yet over the span of a European tour, several US tours, an LP entitled "Careless" (released and reissued 3 times on DAIS Records), 2 cassette EP's, and a 7-inch on (Weyrd Son/Brussels), Deb has honed in on a pointed aesthetic. While inherently guitar-driven music in the vain of The Chameleons or Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Drab Majesty's sound is often nuanced by ethereal washes of icy keyboards and arpeggiated synthesizers, backed by heavy mechanized percussion and forked pulsing synth bass, all adorned with reverb-laden vocals reminiscent of a hallowed cathedral. In the past two years Deb has been invited to support bands such as Psychic TV, Clan of Xymox, The Frozen Autumn, Prayers, and label mates Youth Code and King Dude to name a few. Part alien, part mime, part priestess -- yet all summed up in the feeble form of a human looking body, Deb Demure aims to serve as a musical and visual medium marrying the void and the form.
SOFT KILL (US)
Soft Kill is the brainchild of Tobias Grave as a follow up of previous band BLESSURE GRAVE. In fall 2010, the project started demoing their first tracks which already showed their shared devotion to goth pop and post punk acts of the early 80’s. Indeed, the band’s debut full-length, “An Open Door”, is haunted by the ghosts of The Cure, Killing Joke and Magazine. After a couple of years hiatus, Soft Kill came back with their sophomore record entitled "Heresy", a six tracks collection that confirmed the band's great sense and ability in composing moody and sensitive but straight to the bones tunes that won't leave you heartless. Their very latest LP 'Choke' was released on Profound Lore Records and became an instant classic in the band's discography.

WHISPERING SONS (BE)
Whispering Sons is a Belgian post-punk band formed in 2013. Their dark sound breathes desperation and nervosity, which translates into an ominous atmosphere. Their first EP ‘Endless Party’ was released in December 2015 on Wool-E Tapes and was reissued on vinyl in March 2016 through Minimal Maximal. Both sold out in less than a month. In April 2016, the band won Humo’s Rock Rally, Belgium’s most prestigious music competition. In October 2016, they released the 7" "Performance / Strange identities" on Weyrd Son Records, then did their second European tour in February 2017.
► Day #2 - Saturday 27 May
SOVIET SOVIET (IT)
Hailing from the coastal town of Pesaro, Italy, the post-punk-inspired trio Soviet Soviet feature vocalist/bassist Andrea Giometti, vocalist/guitarist Alessandro Costantini, and drummer Alessandro Ferri. After forming in 2008, the band made a name for itself the following year with consistent touring and self-released singles. Soviet Soviet spent some time honing their sound and returned in 2011 with the Summer, Jesus EP; later that year, that EP and an untitled 2009 EP were released as the compilation Nice. The band returned to the studio in 2012, emerging with their debut album, Fate, which Felte Records released in November of 2013. Ahead of Soviet Soviet's second album, Felte reissued Nice in 2016 on vinyl and as a digital download. Endless, which featured a collaboration with electronic artist Yppah, arrived late that year.

CHARNIER (BE)
Charnier is a Brussels based trio developing a large range of frantic and highly energetic sounds composed by a wavy bass and gloomy vocals (David), stark electonics and frenetic beats (Gilles) and glassy but straightforward guitar sounds (Pierre) in the purest postpunk tradition, all mixed with a powerful and rocky aesthetic. They're currently releasing their first album on vinyl through Weyrd Son Records (April) after it made its first steps on cassette last October, released by Wool--E-Tapes. This release ended in lots of last year's top 20's from the specialized press. Charnier opened for a large variety of bands, from minimal wavers Das Ding, to punkers Komplikation or Pop.1280 (Sacred Bones Records) to name just a few.

ANIMAL YOUTH (BE)
Animal Youth is a band from Brussels. Formed in 2016 from the ashes of Siamese Queens, the Belgian trio romantically mixes 90s flavoured shoegaze and post-punk, hitting ears with waves of noisy guitars, bass chorus, cold reverbed drums, and a nod to influential bands such as The Jesus and Mary Chain, Cocteau twins and My Bloody Valentine. First LP will be available in the Spring of 2017 on Weyrd Son Records.
