Architect and visual artist Filip Berte is known for his project Eutopia, where he screened Europe as political entity by shaping it into a house in which every room reflected a different facet of the continent. His current project Un-Home continues that critical creative practice and focuses on the mechanism of inclusion and exclusion of uninvited newcomers in our Western society.
With the use of a camera obscura and a hidden digital camera, Filip installed a critical ‘moment of auto-reflection’ in several asylum centers. During Working Title Festival, Filip will look back on this first phase of the project with an interactive exhibition.
