The Cradle
Paco Cathcart (b. 1992) is a Colombian-American musician and writer from Brooklyn, New York who has performed and recorded under the moniker The Cradle since 2013. In that time they have toured extensively in the United States and internationally, and put out 20 or so wildly diverse full-length albums, as well as many more EPs and live tapes, self-released and on various indie labels. Almost entirely self-recorded, the Cradle catalogue reflects a porous, experimental approach to making music and a vast range of influences. As reverent as it is skeptical, Cathcart’s is quintessentially millennial music: syncretic, cyborg, accidentally and inevitably. In August 2026 their most recent LP Get Yourself a Man & Other Love Songs was released on Wharf Cat Records.
