Through a postcolonial perspective, Boabab van de Teranga weaves a red thread between urban development, gentrification and police violence in Brussels. By linking different hotspots in the city in a variety of visual, cartographic and sound languages, ‘Les Pavés de la Terre’ wants to pay tribute to every single person who has lost her life following police control since 1991.
