Let’s talk about care as a key element in fostering healthier masculinities!

Since the #MeToo movement, cisgender men have been increasingly held accountable and called to action urged to reflect on what it means to be a man and to become better allies to women and those affected by male oppression and patriarchy.
But do men actually care? If so, what do they care about, and how do they show it? This discussion on masculinities, deconstruction, and care delves into the evolving understanding of masculinity in contemporary society. By encouraging open dialogue, the discussion seeks to promote a more inclusive approach to deconstructing male privilege and redefining masculinity. It emphasizes the importance of accountability and introduces new perspectives on what it means to care, urging men to embrace vulnerability, empathy, and shared responsibilities, ultimately paving the way for more balanced and equitable relationships.
