Outside of institutions, what’s happening within our communities regarding health care?
We should come together to discuss practical situations, tips, and habits openly among ourselves.
What tools do we need to create? What do we want to build? How does innovation by and for trans health care work? How do we understand what continues to divide us? And, what can we dream of—to stay united and strengthen the health of our communities?

No pre-knowledge required - come as you are!

Our invitees Baxter, Hugo & Andrée and their guests freely discuss, debate and dream in the cozy beurscafé. We have pouffs, we have tea and we have time. Free event, no registration needed!

about

Olave Nduwanje (40), born in Burundi and raised in the diaspora, is a Black trans woman who writes. She has made literary contributions to Zwart-Afro-europese literatuur uit de Lage Landen (2018), De Goede Immigrant (2020), and Being Imposed Upon (2020). Additionally, she has published several times in De Standaard, OneWorld Magazine, and NRC Handelsblad. Her writing career so far has been characterized by short-term projects (columns, articles, literary contributions to anthologies, readings, etc.). She aims to break away from this pattern in the coming years and focus on two major projects: a play (working title Een Bubbel van Vijf) and a novel about death.
