Brussels-based artist Fabrizio Terranova joins forces with BOZAR, ERG and the Beursschouwburg. We present his film Donna Haraway: Story Telling for Earthly Survival (presented at Kunstenfestivaldesarts in 2016) and to top it off, we invite Donna Haraway – influential art theorist, feminist and science-fiction lover – to join us in watching, listening and debating. Expect two full evenings of captivating material about gender, identity and technology, focused on the work of Donna Haraway.

Fifty years ago, a bunch of screenwriters from the entertainment industry invented a new way to die - as if there weren’t already enough ways to die - and it was called skin suffocation. With that iconic image of a gold-painted body dead woman, the ‘industry of desire’ created some sort of a symbol for patriarchy: the ultimate male trophy.
