The Equal Opportunities Unit of the City of Brussels is pleased to invite you to the opening drink of the Disability Week, which will precede the performance 'And everything is porous as a bodily crack' by Alice Giuliani & Camilla Strandhagen. Join us for an evening of sharing, reflection and conviviality!
The Disability Week is not just a time to raise awareness upon handicap and ableism, it's also an invitation to take action to ensure that everyone, with or without a disability, can participate fully in the cultural life of Brussels. It is a week packed with activities, running until 7 December.
The event is open to all:
- Drop-off/on zones in front of numbers 16, 18 and 20 rue Auguste Orts
- Accessibility for people with reduced mobility
- Interpretation in Langue des Signes Francophone de Belgique (LSFB) and Vlaamse Gebarentaal during the drink
- Performance in English with English subtitles and translated into International Sign Language
- Aftertalk in French and LSFB
- Cozy seating in the Golden Space
