The SAN KELLER LEARING CENTER is a symbolic 'contemporary shelter', a 'survival capsule' for a life after capitalism. In case the system breaks down overnight (as some economists suspect), this CAPSULE (easily to re-build in your garden or on your roof) might save you!
Martin Schick plans to develop a Learning Center for applied post-capitalist ideas.
The institute bears the name SAN KELLER LEARNING CENTER* (mentally sponsored by the Swiss artist San Keller) is an ironic answer to big profit-oriented companies.
*Learning Center: A laboratory for learning, creating and sharing ideas, often called "church of the future“, mostly used for common and non-profit activities. In late capitalism often misapplied by enterprises for whitewashing or appropriation of intellectual property (see: Rolex, Novartis etc.).
In Brussels The San Keller Learning Center will be used as a ‘workspace’ inhabited by different artists, themselves adding creative ideas for a life after capitalism.
