In december 2016, workspacebrussels, Beursschouwburg, Halles St-Géry and Brussels Major Events will host MADE IN BRUSSELS, a creative pop-up gallery with affordable artworks, editions and designs by over 30 Brussels based artists. In collaboration with the local art schools and students, emerging talent and renowned artists, the project will aim to give to a broad audience a taste of the incredible creative climate in Brussels.

Het Gentse kunstenaarsduo Robbert&Frank Frank&Robbert (BE) werkt momenteel aan een project waarbij ze kleine houten koffers fabriceren. De koffertjes - op maat van handbagage in vliegtuigen - herbergen uitklapbare kunstwerken en performances. In de Beursschouwburg zullen ze overdag de inhoud van de koffer met de titel GA WEG LEED VAN DE WERELD uitpakken en opzetten. De ietwat naïeve boodschap van dit werk refereert aan het eenvoudige (hoewel eeuwenoude) geloof dat ze met die tekst - als een mantra - de wereld effectief kunnen verbeteren. Iedereen die de zin leest, denkt en uitspreekt, stuurt hiermee iets ‘goeds’ het universum in.
