Aan de hand van interviews (Hans-Maarten Post) en scenebeelden (Stephane Leonard), exploreert de film het creatieve proces, de grenzeloze openheid van de dans en performance, en de manier waarop het publiek het publiek dat ervaart. Alle artiesten - performers, beeldende kunstenaars, muzikant - geven hun visie op deze ‘magic cave’: een sacraal ritueel, een speeltuin, een zee van licht, en boven alles: een persoonlijk perspectief op de concepten van collectiviteit en presentatie.
