MC Yallah komt uit Kenya, woont en werkt in Kampala, Oeganda en zit bij kersvers label Hakuna Kulala, een sublabel van het toonaangevende Nyege Nyege Tapes dat het Nyege Nyege Festival organiseert, aan de bronnen van de Nijl. MC Yallah nam haar debuutplaat op in de Boutiq Studios (eveneens van Nyege Nyege), samen met de Franse producer Debmaster, bekend om zijn gestoorde beats.
De combo van Debmasters beats en MC Yallah’s bangingggg vocals – een mix van Luganda en Swahili – levert vuurwerk op: de intense live performance op Unsound in Polen was volgens Resident Advisor “één van de belangrijkste vijf optredens dit jaar”. Nu tourt het duo door Europa en komen MC Yallah & Debmaster ook de Zilveren Zaal in vuur en vlam zetten met hun krachtige, futuristische muzikale mix.

Rrita Jashari is of the founders of the Brussels-based 54KOLAKTIV and 54Sound, a Jamaican style handcrafted soundsystem. She’s also programmer at VK Concerts in Molenbeek and a resident DJ at Kiosk Radio. In her sets, she likes to make people discover music by blending sounds from various eras and areas, ranging from experimental, ethnical and underground music to dancefloor hits or even more poppy music. No music purism!

Mika Oki is a visual artist, DJ and producer born in Paris, most likely under a full moon. With a background in sculpture and electro-acoustic music, she explores the notion of intangible spaces and emotional landscapes through AV installations, music and mixes. As a DJ, Mika Oki knows how to surprise dance floors and other art spaces (at festivals like Dekmantel or Les Garages Numériques) with a selection ranging from jungle, uk bass and gqom to dark electro, mesmerizing trance and heavy EBM. By animating a wide range of voice samples, experimental sounds, electroacoustic music extracts and ambient textures, she plays like a sculptor with a duty to create an unsettling atmosphere. She also heads the Brussels chapter of LYL Radio from Brasserie Atlas to your ears and the rest of the world.
