Those without a fixed address - often referred to as modern-day nomads or transmigrants – are a growing part of our society. Being constantly ‘on the move’ and ‘homeless’ is what these people have in common. Expats from the European district, refugees and homeless researched for several months the notions of privacy and intimacy, which are the fundamentals of a home. They exhibit their most valued objects and bring their story into focus. Because wherever a person lives, in a terraced house or under a bridge, they always create this feeling of homeliness with a number of objects

The exhibition could previously have been visited in the Jubelparkmuseum, the Kaaitheater, the Schaarbeek Hallen and during the Ghent Enter festivall
