On Sunday between 2 and 4 p.m. our programme is focussed on our young visitors and their parents. In the exhibition ‘Home and Away’ children between 8 and 14 are shown around in an interactive way. They discover the exhibition’s valued objects and what their cherished objects are. Jananka from South Africa takes the children into her wondrous world of African fairytales. The older children learn the tricks of painting on glass, a Senegalese painting technique, with Souleymane Diané.
