Founder and living thread Marc Hollander and original front woman Véronique Vincent are back! With 3 new musicians, the prophetic avant-rock band Aksak Maboul is ready - after a loooong break - to transform every imaginable stage into a sound laboratory/sanctuary.

Since the late 70s, the band has never stopped transforming, both in terms of mixing genres and changing band members. When Hollander and Vincent suddenly completed an unfinished record from the 80ies in 2014 and unleashed it upon the world, the ball started rolling again. This, in turn, yielded the double album Figures six years later as well as a series of remixes from buddies near and afar. Today, Aksak Maboul is both a worthy avant-garde monument and a young, ravenous electropop band, still and forever looking for their next sparkling transformation.
