Hitchhiking with a caravan but without a car, artist Tjerk Ridder and journalist Peter Bijl travelled from Utrecht to Istanbul using the motto: ‘You need others to keep you going’.
Arising out of this project, in addition to a book, a ‘theatrical road movie’ was created: a combination of songs, film and storytelling. This will be followed by a debate about European dreams and boundaries.
