On this occasion, the artist invited Dr. David Boothroyd (cultural theorist and professor at the University of Kent) to perform a lecture on the topic, followed by a debate. Has censorship disappeared? Or is it hiding behind a globalised system of social control, a shared moralism manifested in so-called ‘common ethical guidelines’, which are defended and mainly imposed by our peers?
