about Dyke* March Brussels

On 16 May Brussels will host its first-ever Dyke* March bringing together lesbians, trans dykes, brothers and sister, bi+, queer and questioning sapphics. Everyone who challenges the binaries of gender, questions the societal definition of womanhood or fights for the dykes* in their lives is welcome to join the march.

Organized by a new collective without commercial sponsorship, this grassroots initiative is committed to creating a platform for those who lack public spaces to be present and heard, to share, exchange and love. To learn more about what they march for, read their manifesto.

about Bye Bye Binary

For years, the Bye Bye Binary collective has been taking typography and design beyond the binary. Mostly working in French, but recently they've been workshopping in het Nederlands together with Beursschouwburg and Kaaitheater. Following a series of in-house workshops, this will be an opportunity to share the work in progress: research for a debinarized Nederlands, the first sketches of a common library of inclusive and open-source pictograms, and the unveiling of a new font designed for people with cognitive disorders that impact reading such as dyslexia, dysorthographia, ADHD and neuroatypicality.
