This glimpse behind the scenes of the mid-nineties world tour by the ground breaking industrial rock formation, Ministry, is as fascinating as it is chaotic. It is not for wimps. It’s a pretty graphic autopsy of the decline of a band and fall of the front man, Al Jourgensen, in a cesspool of immorality, paranoia and drug addiction.
The film depicts Jourgensen as a man imprisoned in a self-created myth, a polarizing figure, maligned for his infamous rudeness and praised for his innovative music which inspired groups like Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Korn and Jane’s Addiction.
