Affectionate tribute to one of pop music’s most talented and versatile singer-songwriters. Not only could he include ‘The Fab Four’ among his faithful fans but also Randy Newman, Brian Wilson and many other musicians. He attained the peak of his success in the early ‘70s with songs like Coconut, Without You and Everybody’s Talkin’, in spite of his resolute refusal to appear live.
Nilsson combined an unmatched feeling for melody with an angelic voice and crazy arrangements. He was a man who lived on the edge and was everyone’s favourite drinking partner, which eventually led to his downfall.
