In the summer of 2008 the Polish artist Janek Turkowski became the fortuitous owner of a shoebox full of amateur films. He bought them at a jumble sale and that seemed to be the start of an intriguing quest: whose films are they, who is the constantly recurring woman on the film, etc.? Turkowski searches and supposes, digs into this personal material, and links fiction to reality in this individual and moving tale.
