Join us for a conversation with Fatima Ouassak as we delve into transforming traditional ecological policies and practices by weaving in social and racial dimensions. The aim? To fairly and inclusively meet the needs of working-class neighborhoods and marginalized communities, which are often the hardest hit by ecological disasters. Fatima will discuss the importance of uplifting anticolonial struggles to free land and communities in the Global South from the grip of the colonial-capitalist system. She’ll also highlight why an intersectional approach is crucial for tackling these complex issues.
