P.A.R.T.S. Generation 1 (1995-1998)
The ex-students of the first generation of PARTS have chosen to keep things simple. After not seeing each other for almost 20 years, they have gone in the studio for 2 days (yesterday and today), and are tonight showing a performance. They have offered each other excerpts of their own existing work, as well as new proposals/ideas, as a way to re-meet each other. Everybody in the group has the opportunity of not just witnessing what their colleagues have been doing the last 20 years, but also to perform it live. Just as 20 years ago, they become each other’s subjects of work, each other’s performing accomplices. The result belongs to no one in particular and to all at the same time, just as anyone’s history does.
