Welcome to the second Fuckup Night in Brussels!
Attendance is FREE but we do ask to register in advance. Thanks!
Brussels will continue its celebration of Fuckupreneurs. Three speakers will candidly talk about their biggest professional failure, sharing in 7 minutes:
- What their project was
- What went wrong
- How it affected their personal life
- What they learned
- What they would do differently
At the end of each story you, the audiance, ask questions. All accompanied by beer and good friends.
The speakers who will graciously share their FuckUp Stories in November are:
Sophie Triollet
independent digital consultant and project manager in Paris, California and Brussels. Sophie was hired to develop a game for the launch of an American tv serie and ran into the rough embrace of Murphy's law in almost every way possible. Click here to know what the overall experience felt like. She will explain how it was possible for things to go so horribly wrong and how she recovered from the experience.
Pieter Vereertbrugghen
managing partner of an independent communication agency. Pieter will tell us about phase I of the company - a tale of how 7 young people started a communication company and decided to run their business with a very unique vision on how income should be distributed. Things didn't go as planned, but they did lead Pieter to one of the most meaningful experiences in his life, and the eventual re-launch of the company.
Ignace Wils
sustainable entrepreneurship consultant and former owner of 'De Duurzame Drukker', which roughly translates to 'The Sustainable Printer'. Ignace will tell the story of his impressive socio-ecological project: creating a 100% sustainable printing company with a socially inclusive employee policy, and on the opposite side of the coin a struggle with the economical crisis and badly timed investments.
