Sometimes you need to take a chill pill and sometimes that means contemplating decay and listening to parrots.

Sa dégradation est naturelle et se fera de manière progressive.» Cette phrase est le point de départ de la composition sonore et de la balade, mise en relation avec le travail de William Basinski que l’on peut entendre parler de son projet The Disintegration Loops en introduction. La suite de la balade vous invite à un voyage dans cette bulle vaporeuse de réflexion. Elle est constituée de field recordings et de discussions réalisés sur place, de compositions, de textures, de perruches du parc de Forest, de musiques de méditation enregistrées sur cassettes. Le tout est travaillé à travers différents procédés de dégradation analogiques et numériques. Elle se terminera par une conversation avec Jacque Brel où nous vous invitons à observer le ciel, idéalement allongé."

Hailing from Brussels, Le Motel’s world is a vortex of sight and sound that takes in the many and varied corners of the planet. As a music producer, film composer and DJ his versatility has taken him to festivals and clubs all over the world as naturally as he has ventured out to the less accessible areas of the globe as a field recordist. It’s somewhere in between these spaces that Le Motel operates, gathering unique experiences and sounds to channel through his studio. After his landmark record “OKA” in 2015 and producing for some of Belgium's biggest hip hop names, he recently cofounded label Maloca in order to launch long-awaited second EP “Transiro”. Always adding a rich visual dimension to everything he does, by collaborating with dancers, VJs and videographers alike, Le Motel continues to bridge genres, cultures and sonoric universes, that are irresistible both to novice clubbers and experienced music lovers
