Beursschouwburg is looking for artistic projects for Beursschouwburg’s New Year’s Present!
Beursschouwburg's New Year’s Present – even better than New Year’s Eve – is our free new year’s weekend, on Friday, 10th and Saturday, 11th January. We’re firing off various presents… One of the gifts we wanted to give you, was the performance King Dom by Manah Depauw. On account of the artist falling ill the performance is unfortunately unable to go ahead.
Since we don’t want to send our audience home empty-handed, we’re sending out this last-minute call to the artistic community in Brussels and beyond: what would you like to give our audience? A short performance, video, installation, concert or something else? Send us your suggestion and the Beursschouwburg will select a number of projects.
We’re offering a stage on Saturday, 11th January from 8.30 p.m., an audience and immediately following the free New Year’s Eve Revisited Party!
Practical:
What we’re looking for: one or more artistic projects (multidisciplinary), as a present from you to the Beursschouwburg and audience
Presentation: Saturday, 11th January at 8.30 p.m. at Beursschouwburg
What to do?
Send a short description of the project + technical requirements+ contact details (telephone, e-mail) to proposals@beursschouwburg.be before Thursday, 9th January, 4 p.m.
Be careful: building up and rehearsing is only possible on the day itself, technical support is limited.
We’ll reply to you on Friday, 10th January at the latest.
