When fictionalising possible futures, artists’ strategies can resemble those of science fiction writers. After a century in which art and literature were discussed in terms of deconstruction and critique, when utopian ideas collapsed, the time has come to start imagining different worlds again. What kind of strategies could be at stake in doing so? This final day of reflection will be centred on the idea of speculation. The discussion will focus on a reflection on art as a tool to imagine a variety of possible futures.
